Editorial policy
Address format-specific problems
We avoid long text produced by swapping suffixes and duplicated generic FAQs. Each guide selects relevant workflows, platforms, failure causes and conversion caveats.
Separate specifications from workflows
We prioritize standards bodies for specifications and official OS/software documentation for workflows, identifying the source’s role rather than labeling all links alike.
Claims and limits
The same suffix can hide different contents. We do not promise universal opening or safety based on a suffix, and do not invent unverified URLs/support claims.
Review dates and corrections
Review dates apply only to content actually reviewed. Source-check dates record our verification, distinct from the source’s publication date.
Separation from advertising
Sources are displayed separately from ads/affiliate content. Advertising links are not treated as evidence and are labeled when shown.
